UK based Nitecore bring you the UM2 charger. It is an intelligent USB charger with a total maximum output of 3000mA, offering a very speedy charge for your batteries. In order to achieve the max charge speed a 9V 2A QC 2.0 charging adapter must be used.

The UM2 charger by Nitecore offers a charge programme by design for optimisation for IMR batteries which detects the entire charging process, warranting that the cut off voltage is always within safe limits to prolong the lifespan of the battery. Each single slot the Nitecore UM2 charger has, has a maxi output of 1500mA, which means a 3500mAh 18650 battery can take about 2 hours to reach 80% charge.

The Nitecore UM2 charger has an LCD display which repeats real-time charging details. A short press on the ‘V’ button will go through details on the charged volume and charging time, charging current and battery voltage, battery type, cut-off voltage and charging mode. The UM2 charger will automatically select from 3 charge modes when the battery is inserted, according to the battery type and capacity. The charger can alternatively set parameters manually to meet various charging needs; long press the ‘C’ button to enter the charging setting mode.
