FFA Want Electronic Cigarettes To Be Carried On Board Plane

There are a lot of things that have been outlawed for travel on a commercial plane and the regulations for flight are very stringent  especially in recent years however the Federal Aviation Administration actually wants vapers to carry on their electronic cigarettes on board the plane with them.

This recommendation was brought about in regard for aircraft safety after a couple of incidents in which the e-cigs in hold catched fire. For safety reasons electronic cigarettes should always be turned off and the battery removed to prevent the device from overheating or accidentally activating like in the cases above. I would like to point out that this is not just localised to electronic cigarettes, any electronic device which is left on, especially one that heats up has the potential to become a hazard - it is up to the owner of the said device to make sure the device is properly turned off and the appropriate steps at taken to ensure safety.

At present the FAA wants airlines to educate vapers on electronic cigarette airline usage. It is important to note that although some airlines will allow you to bring your e cigarette on board the plane with you, in flight vaping is strictly prohibited.
